(More customer reviews)The story is about a white Flight attendant,named Cassie who falls in love with Daniel, a black pilot. Her love for him is uncomplicated, despite the difference in their race. Daniel, on the other hand, is suspicious of her love for him because he was abandoned by his mother at a young age and has therefore concluded that he doesn't deserve anyone's love. They break up because of a remark he overhead Cassie make and come together two and half years later when he's in a crash. They spend the night together and Cassie becomes pregnant and tries to keep it a secret from Daniel. He finds out and they began to put their relationship on soild ground.
I wished someone would had written up a brief synopsis of this book before I had purchase it. The interracial dating and marriage of Black men to White women is so common that some of the so called problems they encounter didn't entice any sympathy from me. I was just completely bored with the book. This book will go in my "donate to the book store" pile. So, at least it will do some good.
