The poems show terrific range, too: now a voice of fragile femininity, now a tough-minded love-realist, now a globetrotting observer of World News or a narrator from some twisted version of the Discovery Channel, the poems manage to be both avant-garde and accessible, funny and resonant.
Buy this book--delightful.
