I have totally out grown (old age, many beers, etc) my nice gortex suits.
Since I haven't been skiing all that much anymore I needed something inexpensive that would keep me warm and dry in the snow.
At this price this suit was exceptional (less than 80 bucks).
It is not Gortex so when you sweat the moisture stays inside. I found myself drenched in my own sweat by the end of the day. Had to wash it after two days to make it bearable for the next two days.
The gator is not big enough to fully zip over a pair of real ski boots (okay...so I have rear entry solomans from 1991...what can I say).
Also, since it is made from...nylon (I think)...it is slippery, so when you are going fast and you fall you slide for a long way.
It is by far not high tech, however I do not think that is what it is designed to be. For someone cheap like me that just wanted something to get him by and not pay an arm and a leg...it was perfect.
So there you have it...my view on the Ski and Rescue Suit.
Oh...and BTW: It fit this 215#, 6' man (a little (okay a lot) large around the middle) just fine.

(More customer reviews)These are great sunglasses. The optics are really good and the construction is solid. And you can't beat the look. Some may find them a tad on the heavy side due to the use of real glass but I like the solid feel. I was concerned that they aren't polarized but so far it hasn't been an issue. I have a smaller face and have trouble finding a good fit. The American Optical's in the 52mm are perfect for me. The case they come with is nice. Nothing fancy but it does the job. I do wish they came with a cleaning cloth but that's a minor complaint.

(More customer reviews)All I really wanted was a cheap cute costume, and I guess I got what I paid for. It was indeed cheap, and it was cute, but it was already starting to fray on the bottom by the time I put it on the first time. The second time I wore it, the orange fabric was separating from the blue in a noticeable hole, which of course only got worse as I tried to fix it. For a one time wear, it's not a bad costume, but the quality and materials are extremely cheap. If you're planning on wearing a costume more than two times, I wouldn't buy this.

I followed the shipper's instructions to order another one and send the wrong jacket back with the receipt. But upon receipt of the second jacket, I found it to be too small, also. So I sent both jackets back in the same box.
It took over a month to hear from the vendor (Galaxy Army & Navy Store, located in Brooklyn, NY). One of the jackets was purchased directly from Amazon.com, but they were never notified by the vendor that a return had been made.
Finally, they acknowledged the return and notified Amazon.com, which issued a prompt refund. The vendor, however, kept insisting that they'd paid the refund when they hadn't. Months went by until finally, after demanding they check their records for the umpteenth time, they found their error, and my refund was issued - not after 30 days as per their policy, but after 4 months and after arguments and threats were exchanged.
They made a bundle on their "restocking fee" as well.
Do NOT do business with this vendor!!!

He loves it so much that he has to take it to school with him in his backpack, so he can wear it in class. He has to wear a warmer snow jacket while outside right now, as we live in the mountains. Now I have to worry about two jackets at school per day instead of one, but he is very proud of it, so I deal with it. The jacket is made very well and the patches look great too. I may have to buy him the next size up for the future. Also, the company that I purchased it from sent it very quickly. I was worried that I wasn't going to receive it in time for my son's birthday since the original info showed it coming afterwards, but it actually was delivered in advance. That was awesome!

It is a very good quality bag, in addition to the normal sleeve protection function, it has the padded sides increasing the protection to the equipment and the handles are very helpful with its manipulation.
I don't believe that in the market exist any other product as this for the price.

(More customer reviews)These are very solid and heavy-duty, but even though I don't have super-oily skin, they have a tendency to slip down on my nose no matter how I adjust the spatulas.
If I don't keep pushing them back up, they go all the way down and do a clothespin pinch on my nostrils. I like to breathe through my nose, sometimes.
I really don't want to have to buy sandpaper nose bridge pads to keep them on my nose properly. Or maybe get sub-dermal magnet implants to make them stay in one place. If there's another solution, please comment on this review.
