(More customer reviews)Bought this for my 9 year old for Christmas. He loved it! I loved it because it wasn't too expensive, is well-made of durable construction, and it's a warm coat. It is pretty much as I expected and hoped it would be, but it is a little thicker/warmer than I expected. It came in a nice, square box that I wrapped in Santa's paper. My son also doesn't take it off much. It is also reversible to high-visibility orange. I love what it represents.

I have a leather A2 jacket that I bought over the net, and they also sell this jacket. I was in the Air Force back in the 60's and remembered these jackets. Only flight crew wore them, but I always thought they looked great. For no more than they cost, if it wasn't warm, at least it looked good. Well, this is a great jacket...better than I thought. I would buy this jacket again. It is wind proof, and sheds rain pretty well, and I have not felt cold in it yet...28F last night.

it is so well made and details are awesome. Also it is very easy to take care of by just washing it in the washing machine and it comes out brand new. If you are slightly interested, purchase this because I am going to order more for my other two older sons who keep taking it from my youngest.

When I found that Amazon had a flight jacket in long sizes available through Captain Dave's I was quick to order one and I'm pleased to report that this seems to be a very well made garment with good materials and workmanship. It's warm but lightweight. I look forward to many long years of service as I face those brutal winter mornings here in Tucson. :)

I live in a very windy town in Hungary and while walking with my dog this Jacket is preventing me from the cold. The only problem is I lost 3 little green knobs, because they were not sewn well! I asked for a price reduction (US$ 10) to buy knobs and make the rework by myself. Today I got US$15, so everything is fine!

1. Boeing Jacket was used to manufactured in South Korea, the material and craftsmanship were perfect and worth every single cent.
2. Boeing Nylon Flight Jacket is now manufactured in China, honestly material is very poor, craftsmanship is awful, stitches were not done properly.
Final conclusion: it is a waste of money to buy this Jacket, I will not buy this type of Jacket from Boeing Apparel again. I also do not recommend this jacket to anybody.
Alfa Industry has good quality control and some of them are still made in the USA, which is superior quality. Zip is YKK, Alfa industry material is superior to Chinese made Boeing Nylon Fly Jacket.

Sage Green MA-1 Flight Jacket Review

(More customer reviews)I am a fan of bomber jackets, and enjoy my leather one very much. I wanted to get a nylon one because I needed a rainproof jacket that would cut the cold winds down this winter.
"Extra Full Cut" means that it is oversized by two sizes. I wear a large normally, and the small size MA-1 fits very well, not too snug. The arm pocket is very conveniently placed; once you are wearing the jacket, the sleeve twists slightly to keep it in reach. It rides a bit high on me, but I have a long waist/short legs. As reviewers of the other MA-1 jackets have said, this is extremely comfortable to wear, and has virtually no weight... quite a change from a heavy, bulky leather bomber jacket.
The jacket is Rothco brand, and made in China. It comes with a few replacement snaps in case one gets lost. The zippers are robust, but kinda sharp while they are new. Label inside the pocket says "Dry Clean Only."
It shipped from Amazon.com affiliate Army Universe. It came in a small USPS box and the jacket has been slowly unwrinkling on a hanger.
All in all, a purchase I would make again - an inexpensive, relatively good quality jacket that looks good and keeps the winter out.

(More customer reviews)Okay I got this Jacket on the advice of a friend, after it arrived i tried it on and wore it around, seemed a tad bulky and the material made those weird sliding sounds when i moved. After wearing it around bit i realised just how warm it really was, in 40 degree weather just walking around i was sweating which says something, the pockets are very nice and its a well made jacket, its reversable but lets be honest the orange alternative is petty ugly so stick with black, overall I have come to like the look of the jacket and fully recommend it to anyone who wants a good warm coat at such a reasonable price.
